Ingredients:

2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup water
3-4 TBS sugar
pinch of salt
3 cups milk
whipped cream (optional)
cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

  • Heat the chocolate squares and water over low heat and stir until the chocolate is melted.
  • Add the salt and sugar. Boil 4 minutes, continuously stirring.
  • Slowly add the milk then heat until scalded. Remove from heat and beat until smooth.
  • Pour into mugs then top with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Yield: 4 - 6 servings
